Why Nami Matcha is Healf
Unlike many other matcha varieties, Okumidori First Harvest Matcha comes from a single origin in Kagoshima, Japan, ensuring consistent quality and flavour. This late-maturing cultivar, known as Okumidori or deep green," produces a strikingly vibrant green powder with a smooth, balanced taste. Its rich umami and naturally sweet notes make it ideal not only for daily matcha rituals but also for preparing koicha, the thick style of matcha traditionally used in Japanese tea ceremonies. Matcha is traditionally enjoyed with only water. Add 1/2 tsp matcha to 1-2oz warm but not boiling water (140-175°F). Whisk for 15-30 seconds in a W (zig-zag) motion. Add another 4-6oz warm water after whisking and enjoy!
